Robin, I like that you take it to the SBDM team first and then I also like how you wrap up the year long project by taking a survey and having everyone reflect on what worked and what needs to be improved or looked at. One thing that Monica and I found helpful was to keep a notebook of all our planning notes, sign in sheets, flyers, articles and also a reflection after the event on what worked and didn't as well as ideas for improvement for the following year.
Robin, I think your project is very important. Getting teacher buy-in to research ideas for parental involvement is great. This takes so much time, but worth it in the end. I think the surveys are a valuable tool that will be helpful in ways to look for improvements. Good job and good luck!

Indeed, bringing the SBDM team onboard from the start is a great idea. It builds on the buy-in concept with the teaching staff.
